About Owndmap
Owndmap is a service that converts PDF or image illustrated maps into interactive online maps. We aim to deliver information that paper maps struggle to convey—for tourism, events, and facility guides—in a format easy to view on smartphones.
Message from Operator
Owndmap was born from the desire to "let anyone easily deliver their own maps online."
Municipality guides, tourist maps, event flyers, facility maps... We wanted to make information previously only available on paper more accessible and easier to convey. To do this, we developed a system to convert maps that were hard to use as PDFs or images into smartphone-friendly online maps.
Maps are tools to convey information, but also media that create experiences. Our goal is to create a world where both users and creators can share information without stress or confusion.
